PHOTOGRAPHY TRIP - MOUNT GAR (MOUNT DIFFICULT)
A short video showcasing the stunning landscape that is Victoria's Grampians National Park. This was my second hike to the summit of Mount Gar, the first being hampered by a sever stomach bug. Starting at Troopers Creek campground, I made the 18km return journey. With dispersed camping mostly banned in the national park, it was a challenge to find a suitable area to spend the night! However, upon discovering a site (outside the no camping zone) I pitched my tent and enjoyed an evening under the stars. With high velocity winds at the summit, photographing sunrise was a challenge. However, by increasing my shutter speed I was able to capture a sharp frame of morning light. An "Ancient Landscape" briefly painted with deep crimson red and gold.
